What makes a pole studio different

Fitness software wasn’t built for inverts.

1–2per pole

The room sets the class size.

Most pole classes run one or two students per pole, so class size depends on how many poles the room has. PSM caps each class at that number and puts extra students on a waitlist.

Climb → invert

Levels protect students.

Students shouldn’t be upside down before they can climb and hold a sit. Prerequisites keep them in the right class without you checking every booking.

Sat 7 PM

Parties are prime time.

One bachelorette or birthday party can earn more than a regular class. They belong in the same calendar and ledger as everything else.

The pole studio playbook

The offers that work, and how to set them up.

Most successful pole studios sell a similar set of offers. Here’s how each one maps to PSM.

From the studio floor

Four habits of well‑run pole studios.

Name levels by skill as well as number.

“Level 2: Climbs & Sits” tells a new student where they belong far better than “Level 2” alone, and cuts down on “which class should I take?” emails.

Keep intro classes open. Lock the inverts.

Let anyone book Intro and Level 1. Add prerequisites from the first inverting level onward, where the risk is.

Let the waitlist tell you when to add a class.

A class with a regular waitlist is evidence for a second time slot. You no longer have to guess.

Treat every party guest as a future student.

Follow up with party guests with an intro offer while the night is still fresh. Some of your best regulars will start that way.

Pole studio questions

Asked by pole studio owners.

Can I limit a class to the number of poles in the room?

Yes. Each class has its own capacity, so you can match it to the poles you have. When a class is full, students can join the waitlist.

Can students skip ahead to a level they aren’t ready for?

Only if you let them. Prerequisites can require students to complete named classes before they can book the next level, and you can make advanced classes invitation-only.

Can I book bachelorette and birthday parties?

Yes. Parties and special events sit on the same calendar as your classes, with their own room, instructor and payment.

Do you support pole instructor training programs?

Yes. Set up a training as a multi-session course with a prerequisite, and offer a payment plan so students can spread the cost.

Can I sell grip aids, shoes and apparel?

Yes. Products and inventory are included, alongside gift cards.

What does it cost?

$80 a month for your first location and $40 for each additional location, with unlimited students and classes. There’s no contract, and the 30-day demo is free with no credit card.
